You're welcome..If he is close enough he can't hit you with the nuclear missiles and fireballs, basically the only thing that could hit you are the homing missiles. If you can hit the barrels you will deal critical hit damage and after destroying them you will rob him of some of his attacks. To speed things up grab a Bee Shield for maximum damage.
I'm level 62 with Kreig and can't beat the badassasaurus Rex. Just jump over the barrier next to the entrance. That's what I always do. The easy way to cheese it is to stand behind the barrier with a DPUH + Bee, on either of the sides of the opening. Fire twice, sidestep behind the wall to let the reflected rounds smack the wall on the way back. Need to beat Badassasaurus Rex without hiding in the antechamber? I think he does if you don't have that Horde mission accepted or selected. It took me forever to learn this. As u/N3WM4NH4774N stated he does repawn if you don't activate the Horde of Horrors quest outside. Walk up to the concrete barrier at the doorway and Badassasarus Rex will appear for you to farm the Slow Hand shotgun.
